I was responsible for creating the on-air visuals for Globo's broadcast of Rock in Rio 2019 music festival. I decided to build on top of the festival's logo animation, made by Lightfarm, by playing with the colorful "blob" that transforms into the festival's logo.
The original idea was to have an intro promo where the blob would travel around iconic places in Rio, setting the stage for the festival. Due to time and budget constraints, only the on-air visuals were developed, but I added a test for this proposal in the gifs below.
